There are many ways to start a Blog. The easiest is to subscribe to one of the many hosted services. I decided to do it the hard way and host my own. I have downloaded WordPress and then uploaded it to my own web hosting service, Virtualnames. Once you’ve followed the simple installation instructions you’re away! I have also installed the Widget Plugin which makes it much easier to arrange the entries that appear in the sidebar over on the right.
Flickr is even easier, once you have paid your money you can download the upload tool and then upload as many photos as you like. You can organise them in to Sets to impose some sort of organisation on them, and assign Tags to make it easy for you to find things you want.
